Closely vetted, carefully Disclosing and Barring Service (DBS) checked, our teaching team are additionally trained in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food and Hygiene. We believe that for your child, having a secure attachment to an early childhood teacher creates a clear advantage in developing school readiness. Jo Perry

Nursery Manager


Jo has a wealth of experience working in childcare for over 27 years. She has worked in various roles from working as a Community Nursery Nurse, Nursery practitioner, as a childcare assessor and currently in Nursery Management. Throughout her childcare experience Jo has developed good relationships with health professionals and families. Jo is passionate about working with children and loves to spend time in the outdoors and enjoys creative play too! Jo is very hands on in the nursery and loves to play with the children everyday.

Monali Patel

Deputy Manager


Monali joins Tomberries Nursery with 12 years of experience with children from 4 months to five years of age. She is Level 3 qualified in Childcare and Level 5 in Childcare Management too. The children love to call her Minnie, and she loves to join in with lots of creative play and painting, and really enjoys singing and dancing with the children including physical education. Monali has a very hands on approach and loves to spend lots of quality time with the children.

Tania Sabanandan

Early Years Practitioner


Tania has been enjoying working with children for six years and has worked in England and Australia. She has lots of experience with children aged 2 to 5 years. Tania has a Bachelor of Arts in Childhood studies alongside her NVQ Level 3. Tania really loves to dance and sing with the children and she is so excited to be a part of our Tomberries family!

Roxanne Iyacootee

Early Years Practitioner

Roxanne has had 4 years of experience teaching across the Primary year groups. She is pleased to be working at Tomberries focusing on her passion of the Early Years. She enjoys learning through play with the children through meaningful and playful activities. She is excited to continue teaching creative lessons, including Phonics and French; enriching children with readiness and confidence for school.

Davinia Hughes

Nursery Assistant

Davinia is our Level 2 practitioner working towards her Level 3. She has been working with children for 3 years which has helped her develop her skills when dealing with children and how to approach sensitive situations.She is really enjoying being a part of the Tomberries team. Davinia enjoys doing arts and crafts with children as it brings out their creative side and encourages them to bring out their abstract ideas.

Judit Szerencse

Nursery Cook

Judit has been working with children for many years. Judit also has a lot of experience working with food and in nursery kitchens too. Judit has helped to create our very own home from home menu. She has a great passion for cooking with the children, baking, and beautiful creative arts and design too. Judit has brought lots of fun and exciting songs to Tomberries nursery too which the children love.
